Art therapy workshops offer a supportive, interactive space to learn through shared experiences.
Coming together in a group setting fosters connection, community, and mutual support. It offers space to share stories, normalize shared human struggles, reconnect with inner wisdom, recognize strengths, and learn practical tools for navigating challenges.
As a Clinical Counsellor, I have facilitated art therapy with adolescents in both individual and group settings at the Eating Disorder Program at BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver. I’ve also supported individual children and classroom programs in Vancouver’s inner-city schools as well as in Schools on the Sunshine Coast BC, and have worked in Early Years Program facilitating art based play. I have facilitated Mindfulness-Based Creative Exploration Workshops for Teachers and staff on the Sunshine Coast as well as in Abbotsford BC, and have facilitated parenting workshops for families in several communities in person and online.
