TRAINED IN THE ART OF healing.
BEd, DVATI, MC, RCC, BCATA
Hi, I’m Laura. I’m a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), Art Therapist, and someone who deeply believes in the power of creativity, compassion, and presence in the healing process. I’m also a mother, partner, daughter, friend, and lifelong learner. These roles shape how I show up — bringing warmth, curiosity, and care into every session.
Before stepping into private practice, I spent over a decade as an educator and support worker in diverse communities across the Sunshine Coast, Vancouver, and abroad. I bring over 15 years of experience working in our Coastal community, including School District 46, supporting children, youth, and families both in the classroom and through counselling-based roles.
MY THERAPEUTIC APPROACH
My approach is holistic, mindful, and emotion-based. I’m guided by your unique values and lived experience, and I draw from a foundation of attachment theory, developmental psychology, and neuroscience to support healing that feels both grounded and intuitive.
